Its high foam content breaks the bond between dirt and surfaces, and its lubricating properties protect from abrasion. It is designed to work in harmony with Gtechniq's range of coatings, and soaking tough dirt for several minutes can help tackle tough messes. Wash begins on the upper surfaces and dirt must be rinsed off the mitt in a separate bucket. Finally, a dilution of water and Gwash must be used to replenish the mitt for washing, and all soap residues need to be thoroughly rinsed afterwards.
